That's odd, I'm running 18x9.5 +22 with 275/35s and I get no rubbing at all. In fact, I have room to go up to 285s if I wanted. See rear wheel in this pic for reference - it only tucks inboard more as the suspension compresses.

OP: you should be fine with that setup.
