I would assume that the M50i is not considered some sort of limited availability vehicle so when the dealership has an allocation for an X7, they can order any of the three versions (40i, 50i & M50i) and the discount should be the same.
I'm asking because many years ago, one of my local dealers tried to claim that the 760Li I wanted to order would not have such a high discount because it was a "very limited model" although I knew from one of the forums that this was BS because if a dealer had a 7-series allocation, it made no difference in regards to availability if a 750Li or V12 was ordered...
