We have three kids. We lose so much trunk space. The realist is that one kid is out of the car seat entirely, the next is just in a booster, and we can easier fit them along a bench, this freeing up the huge trunk (but still having flexibility to use the third row when needed, which won’t be that often). Also the mechanism for moving the captains chairs out of the way to get to the third row is pretty terrible (we just took off the armrests and let the kid walk between them).
I find the trailer hitch ugly and we never use it.
