an external boost controller....not run off the computer. The reason its boosting higher in hotter temps cause its trying to make the same power. In colder weather the boost is lower but its making the same power (or should be).

I believe in cold weather, the ECU runs more timing and less boost
and in warmer weather, the ECU runs less timing and more boost to make the same desired HP.
