The close gray in our X7 does not show fingerprints. I hate gloss black and gloss dark wood for that reason. Agree darker wood trim looks better and more updated in matte. Not sure how it wears or if it will age well. Very happy with the gloss gray, but it doesn't go with everything and I think it was $1,000
