CarPlay nav currently does not display in the HUD.
Apparently it's an apple issue (displaying on multiple screen), but they just recently added the capability to the latest release of CarPlay. It's not yet functional on any car yet as far as I know, but presumably it should be available in the coming year(s) (hopefully through a software update).
