I like Bottas and he has proven himself in many races and qualifying so wouldn't give up on him yet. I hate for him to lose his seat BUT a HAM-VER Merc team would certainly be a crazy combination. I don't recall Bottas getting signed on for 2018 yet so it could still happen if they overcame Max's contract.
