I can't imagine Alonso giving up ... nor any other driver. Now giving up on McLaren that's another story.
I understand that Alonso's been in talks with other F1 teams. I highly doubt Merc or Ferrari ... I'm guessing Renault. After this weekend I'd really like to see him take over Checo's seat. Alonso and Ocon ... that would be a good pairing.
Personally I'd like to see him in Indy next year ... but I don't think he's ready to leave F1 yet.
