I am looking to make my alarm louder, i think the oem alarm volume is way too low ! If your car is outside and you're inside your house you may not hear the alarm for the first minute enough time for a tow truck thief to load it on the truck. I notice bmw sucks at everything that is electronic human interface ( radio and buttons ergonomy, idrive interface, car alarm volume..). Also the bmw oem alarm frequency is higher than others it does not propagate far and through walls.
If you're coming from a japanese car they always nail everything electronic.
