I'm still amazed as to why it took so long for it to come to market. The Benz GL has been cashing in for a decade.
Get this X7 on the road ASAP and true halo supercar please

I work for BMW and the reasoning for no full size "X7" or M7 was supposedly BMW couldn't get vehicles those size to the performance targets expected by the brand due to their weight.
Now that BMW has heavily invested into SGL Carbon and learned from the production of the i3 and i8 fully formed carbon fiber models BMW feels that they can now get full-size products to the performance standards expected by the brand.
MB S63AMG and S65AMG are cash cows. But their driving diving dynamics are very poor. However they still outsell the 7 series 3 to 1 because we have no dedicated full M-model.
Intensive carbon fiber is the key so expect to see a full M7 to battle it out and take the sales and performance crown from the dowdy and arguably old-school S-Class.
