E46 M3 Battery will not trickle charge!
I have an E46 M3 Convertible which I have not used much recently so the battery was often too low to start car.
On advice of BMW Rescue Service brought brand new trickle charger.
However charger will not fully charge battery and therefore start trickle charging using connectors under bonnet.
The charger only seems to work if you take battery out of boot and directly connect charger.
Is there too much 'car management' going on in the car for a trickle charger to work? The car is in a garage and I am not currently putting the alarm on.
Its strange that the charger works fine when directly connected to the battery but not to the connectors provided.
Would like to receive any help or advice you may have.
