I ordered the 22's with space saver spare. When it's time for winter I'm just going to change all the tires over to a nice set of all season non run flat. Hopefully they'll be tires available when the time comes because no one even makes a 315/35R22 for the rears. So hopefully it'll be Easier than buying new wheels and snow tires then storing them and transporting them to tire shop to swap ,waiting and then doing it all over again. Did it with my F15, had to buy a kit from Continental with flat repair kit with compressor to keep in the car because there was no room for a spare with 3rd row. So much easier not to deal with winters and a better ride on the 20's I have now.

The BMW reps at the LA Autoshow said, as of right now there are NO All Season Tires available in the size they need for the 22s and they expect the take rate for the 22s in areas where there is snow to be VERY low.
