This.

Personally, my BMW dealer has been great. I think a lot of it is area specific and the kind of customers they deal with. My BMW dealership is in a major city, but a lot of their customers are likely retired older people or professionals who work at the neighboring companies.

The local Japanese brand dealers have been awful to deal with. Very arrogant and basically assuming their cars sell themselves and customer service is non-existent. They seem to deal with all types of customers though. Last time I was there a lady was screaming at the service adviser about why her car needed so much expensive work (was a rusty mid 2000s Accord).
