doesn't freakin' makes sense that BMW can't get this right.

Audi uses direct injection. So does Ford with their Ecoboost V6. So does a few others.

I like to know what hpfp they use and maybe BMW can be school'd on HPFP from these guys.

I think BMW or people blaming ethanol is a joke. BMW is not the only brand using HPFP....


sit back and think about this for a while. BMW..a world renowned car maker... world class engines and handling... yet they can't get a "high pressure fuel pump" designed correctly... somehow this is harder to make correctly than a high revving V8 engine.
