Thanks. This guy is young and inexperienced but knows the car's features pretty well. He comes up with some pretty weird stuff once in a while. This is the second time he's done a brain fart with us. Gonna point it out to his Sales director.

He probably just answered without realizing the X5 is different from some others. In the 5 series the spare tire option kills the trunk. It adds a false floor that is about 5-6 inches high. Last summer I had the 540i on my list but had to take it off once I saw how bad the true was with the spare tire option.
