I'm looking into a custom setup as well. I was going to go with Apexi N1s because they offer an exhaust control valve that can be controlled from the drivers seat. (VA has ridiculous exhaust laws, so I could really use the ability to be stealth or speed with the press of a button).

I figure you can help me out on this question. They offer two types. NA with a 2.36inch "inlet" and a a 3.54inch "tip" and a Turbo with a 3inch "inlet" and a 4.53inch "tip"

When they use the words "inlet" and "tip", does "inlet" refer to the diameter of the opening, with "tip" referring to the length of the tail of the muffler?
