I agree. TomTom on CarPlay costs £15 a year and looks great on the big screen.

I use both TT and iDrive Navigation simultaneously. iDrive Nav is much better than previous generations but its rerouting is still poor i.e. if you stray from its preplanned route, the replanned route can be illogical and inefficient.

The DAP integrates with the iDrive nav slowing for roundabouts, junctions etc so its really useful to have it running, but having TT running as well gives the best of both worlds.
