An interesting read. They struggled to choose between the top 2, but the bottom 2 were easy (for them). Interesting article, likely to spark some debate (and hate mail), but I found it worth the read.

Haven't read the article and since I've seen the result and I can probably guess how they came to their conclusion.
I get what they are saying when it comes making a value purchase. A 228 ( or 230) with a limited slip diff is a helluva car and a great daily driver. Actually it's the best " daily driver " in the 2 series lineup probably because it's still light and nimble.... And if you did a track day you would have a ton of " mod money " left over .. But at the end of the day there are two cars on that list selling over MSRP still and those are clearly the ones to own.
