My guess is yes, but coding will definitely be required and additional hardware/modules may be required depending on how BMW built the X7 from the factory. You may want to check the DIY coding scene on the G05 X5 forums since there are more X5 owners on the road now compared to the X7 (but as you know the X5 & X7 are very similar from a coding and hardware perspective). However, the DIY G-series coding scene is still very young now, with the G05/G07 lagging behind the G30 crowd. The G-series coding knowledge database will only continue to grow now that more G-series cars are on the road.

That said, given the complexities of this type of retrofit and the current state of the G05/G07 coding scene, I recommend you reach out to some of the paid coders for insight into what is possible now. Two that come to mind with good reviews on the forums are:
