I just want to figure out if it's something I really need to pursue. But since the tire isn't losing any air, I wonder if it's a big deal at all. I do plan on tracking these tires.. so it could be a concern. If it were the sidewall, obviously that is an issue. But I think that since it's in the tread block, it might not be a big deal.

Hankook Canada suggests it might be unsafe.. trying to get a firm answer from them.
