I hate toasters that make the first round perfect and goes down hill from there.

This sucker is built like a tank also.
Looks like a great toaster. Have to look into one of those.

A quick note about toaster safety, though. We once had a simple drop-in toaster like the ones shown in this thread. They work by compressing a spring to engage the heating element. When the temp reaches a certain point, the latch releases and the spring pushes the tray back up, thereby cutting the heat. Our toaster would sit under the cabinets until we needed it and then we'd slide it out and make our toast. When it cooled, we'd slide it back under the cabinets. We never unplugged it, though. One day, Wifey was working in the kitchen when she smelled something burning. She found the toaster, which was under the cabinets, was super hot and heating the bottom of the cabinets. She unplugged it and pulled it out. After it cooled, we found that the spring had corroded and fallen apart, so the tray dropped to the bottom and engaged the heating element. It never would have turned off, because there was no spring left to push the tray back up. If she hadn't been in the kitchen or if we had been out of the house, we would have had a nasty fire.

TL;DR - Always unplug your toaster when it's not being used.
