What are the implications on your warranty regarding a lemon branded vehicle?

FWIW, I recently had my X7 windshield replaced. After the replacement, there was an error with the Advanced Driver System, with the KAFAS camera ultimately requiring replacement. All is working fine now, but in the case of the car you are looking at, I would be very careful that everything works as it should.

Replacing the KAFAS camera and reprogramming the car (which is just updating the software in the car) is an easy fix. There has to be another reason the car was branded a lemon and would be cause for concern with me.
You are 100% correct w.r.t lemon law.... lemon laws in California are slightly different and if I remember correctly almost every X7 with DAP was recalled for KAFAS camera reprogramming... it counts towards no. of times at BMW service for same issue... 2 times for same issue within a first year of the vehicle is considered as lemon in California I guess... before reselling the vehicle manufacturer suppose to fix the issue and it is under 4 year bumper to bumper warranty (remaining 2.9 years)
