Basically SmartyCam will tap into the CANBus of your car via a connector and that's how you download information from the ECU. Alternatively, if you have a Solo DL or EVO4 that is already wired to the CANBus, you can connect SmartyCam directly to the expansion channel of the logger and download data that way.
