The Hankooks and Dunlops are both new this season and probably won't change for a few seasons. If there is a new Yoko it probably won't come out for a bit. If you're autoxing unfortunately the RE71R is the tire to have. Nothing else seems to come close to it.
Got 14 runs on them yesterday. Definitely wore down fast on the edges and center but amazing grip when at the right temperature. First tire I"ve had to spray down to keep temps down between runs.
Others said my/our experience is similar and they wear better once worn down a bit. I heard people saying between 75-150 runs, depending on car weight and camber, is what to expect out of them. I hope to get 75 but we'll see.
Great tire though.
