For what it's worth, I got about 27k miles out of my DWS06 on my 2016 Cayenne, which weighs about 800lbs less than the X7, and has the same overall tread width.
I now have the DWS06+ on the Cayenne, and at about 12k miles they are half worn.

Good to know. Still at least double what the summer conti extreme contacts are getting. And a more comfortable drive and better grip in the winter (I would hope). I also got the DWS06+.
