This is the stuff that keeps me back from aftermarket - factory surely worked it out so their pipe won't light your car afire, and can do this repeatedly for 100Kmiles, but perhaps needing to add some of those 'clunky performance-robbing features' that a clever tuning house can/will undo for a few HP or saving a few bucks. Fine for a track car where you are watching things all the time, but for daily driving it can be unnerving.
