If you want a discount, that will solely be at the discretion of the dealership and it looks like many are still not budging on MSRP.

Just not seeing why some are expecting BMW assistance this early for a model that isn't a volume seller and not manufactured as such.
Based on history. X7 is a volume seller, at least in the US. As others said, if you need it right now, you won't get as much of a discount as it's a nice new shiny toy that many people want but give it a couple of months and supply and demand will balance exactly how it's done with every other BMW or similar cars on the market. The fact that this is a three row seater doesn't make it a low volume car.
When orders have been processed and everything stabilized, the X7 for what it is, is a low-volume car. BMW is not going to rely on it for high sales like they do with the X5 and X3. It's not going to be 7 series low but it's not going to do X3 or even X5 numbers - no one needs a $100k, 7-seat SUV.

The GL(S) in it's best year did as much sales as a S-Class (approx. 30,000) in the same year, would you consider either of them volume models?
