Do you know what the luggage compartment package is and if it reduces storage space at the back storage area.The dealer says it prevents cargo from moving aoound back there.Apparently it is powered and goes up and down.It is a $500 option in Canada.I just looked at the US build your own website for the X7 and there is no listing for it.Maybe it is a standard feature on the X7 in the states

I don't know much about that.The x5 does have a retractable cover for the rear cargo area that is powered and goes back into the floor.
