Hi folks,
Went out to start my car just now and I slot the key in, foot on brake, car in park etc. etc. and thumb the button and.......... nothing
(as in engine NOT turning over at all - and plenty of juice in battery...all lights working OK). Again. Nothing.
Etc. Etc. Then on about the sixth try... thumb the button.....coupla seconds of nothing...then car starts. Hurray! But. WTF was up?
Last time I drove the car was only a coupla days ago. When I sprayed the English Winter salty road grime off at the local car-wash. (I also ended up with a little mist/condensation in both headlights - won't go so close with the lance again...) Could it have been some damp that had got onto some electrics somewhere when I washed the car as abovementioned??
Anyone else out there had anything similar going on?
