When I bought my Z4MC the previous owner smoked in the car, it was spotless but stuck like an 80's disco. I used two air sponges and after about a week the car was oder free. I use these things in my boat in the spring to take the winter damp storage smell out and they work great. I get them at my local supermarket and they are worth every penny. Other than that I don't put anything smelly in the car. My two cents, I hate all that smelly stuff in a car, I don't think any of it smells natural and seems cheap to me....but that's just my two cents.
