You state 4.1 has flashing issues and 3.2 does not.
I responded 4.1 can be flashed if you know how.
First, flashing does not change the Hardware. Flashing is software.
I never stated that one could change the Hardware with a flash. One can change the Software with a flash. Nor can you make your iPhone 8 an iPhone 11 by updating (flashing) to iOS 13.
Later 4.1 Hardware Levels are simply flashed over the Ethernet connection, not the OBDI. So 4.1 can be flashed if you know how.
