GT racing ? like pretty much all professional racing these days ? is homologated, which means being competitive requires political maneuvering to ensure your Balance of Performance package doesn't suck. The M6 GTLM has been given a shit deal as far as BoP goes. Watching the #19 car get passed on the oval by the Ford GT cars is extremely frustrating. They blow by the M6 GTLM as if it were a GTD car. |
It's either the car or the drivers but the m6 is not competitive and wasn't last year either. Still an exciting finish though. Ford is laying down the gauntlet.
