You're not missing anything...The difference is marginal. I don't see any average driver noticing the difference on this particular car. First off, they shine when heated. Yes, there is less rotational mass and unsprung weight, but again on a 4300 pound car I can't see it being so noticeable. So in summary, if you don't want brake dust, drop $9000 on them
If we were talking a GT3, it would be a more fruitful discussion. I personally do not understand why these brakes are even offered on this car.
