I doubt an import would achieve the same price as an Oz compliance plated vehicle. Specs vary widely betwen countries. If you're talking 2005 - 2006 I'd imagine you're talking E46 M3. Honestly, if I were in the market and I was looking at two cars, I'd go the Oz compliant one unless the import was significantly cheaper.
