I've been using Apple products since the original iPhone in 2007 and only use Apple products for my business and I've come to learn that they move at a snails pace with most changes. They probably will eventually support digital access to cars via their iPhones but that requires them to unlock and open up NFC which they have been very reluctant to do. We'll see what happens but I wouldn't hold my breath.
