They are the only tyre I have ever removed with almost full grip on them. I got Uniroyal Rain Sport 3 and they were an amazing tyre - especially in the wet.

I had F1s on other cars and been happy with them, but I guess they just could not handle to torque from the 335d (700Nm).

Had non run-flat AS2's on my E92 335i and have them on my F31 335d; always pleased with their performance in all conditions and very surprised at the problems you encountered.

I'm sure there are other good tyres out there and the AS2 is now a relatively old design; however, personally I'd have no hesitation in fitting Goodyears again.
