I did, you would be unlocking an encrypted ECU that belongs to BMW and modifying engine parameters, the internal flash counter cannot be reset and any tech will be able to know that the ECU was unlocked and flashed, voiding your entire powertrain warranty. You don't have to take my word for it and Speed has already lost his warranty he does not care about yours, but you will see if the time ever comes that the bill for any damages will be coming out of your pocket, even if it's the entire motor and trans. Just know what you're getting yourself into, these are facts and Speed is playing on hopes and dreams that his service tech will save him, but no one will if it came down to that. |
It's peace of mind, they still have to prove the blown motor was caused by the tune AND that's if the entire motor blows.
How many M6 motors have you seen blown on here with less than 750bhp running under 22 psi with no other mods?
