Update for anyone else in the future who has a similar issue after switching to PSS on the stock 18" 162 rims on a sport suspension E90.
I switched from 20mm spacers (rubbing, mostly on rear right side) to 15mm spacers, and there is no rubbing any more. I tested it on speed bumps and big dips at high speeds with no rubbing sounds or marks.
I am very happy now as it still looks great and has no functional issues (ideal solution). If anyone wants to buy my pair of 20mm spacers with brand new extended bolts, lmk. I might end up keeping them for my winters since the tires are narrow enough....lol
