It looks like they are changing this one more time... Second place now is only 18 points to further reward race wins... Very good decision. Not sure if FIA has approved this yet
The SWG has decided that race winners should gain a greater margin over their rivals for their efforts, resulting in first place scoring 25 points, second 18 and third 15.
The remain points will have fourth bag 12, fifth 10, sixth 8, seventh 6, eighth 4, ninth 2 and tenth 1.
The changes, though, still need to be approved by the F1 Commission and the World Motor Sport Council.
