Ha ha. Well, I guess it’s just the way it was designed. I haven’t tried it in awhile, but I believe my 2013 M3 also does it.
Unfortunately, I looked in the iDrive menus for awhile, for a way to change the “dip” setting. Maybe it is there, but I could not find it
