A CPU cooling fan is on full blast somewhere in this dash.

That's the fan for the infotainment unit, because it's also firmware updating, it throttles the fan to max because the fan controller and temp sensors can't report while it's being firmwared (just a safety measure). The update takes a while, be prepared for people to stare at you if you're in a shared carpark XD
