Well, if we want to play the semantics game we can say that the salesman is right when he says that the Dakar Yellow is "limited" because since it's a special order color then it will be limited in numbers compared to the lame/ubiquitous Alpine White M3s for instance.
However, he is wrong in saying that the Dakar Yellow is a "limited edition" M3.
