Ultimate street drag racer up to about 100mph.
Just not a track car and can't repeatedly put out those performance numbers before the battery starts to overheat.
If given the option, I would be tempted. Just too expensive right now and the interior is still a little raw for its price range, but the touch screen is fantastic.
The company has an Apple cult like devotion and I expect they will be long term players. They already have been a disruptive force in the auto industry.
Doesn't compare at all to the M3 and they are built for 2 different purposes.
Straight line- Tesla
Corners- M3
Track- M3
Comfort and features- either, personal preference
Valet appeal- Depends on the area and Valet
Convenience- M3, not enough charge stations yet
Cost- M3
Bottom line is I would love to have both.
