I like that companies like Tesla are trying to innovate, but I think companies like BMW and Chevy have a much better approach to the electric car:
Hybrid cars with gasoline and electric motors.
These cars are still saving the environment from a lot of CO2 emissions but with a lot more practicality in terms of driving range, cost, and refueling times.

Pure electric cars require a different mindset and approach to travel. People hate change.
Tesla talked about the battery swap program, i imagine once they get it streamlined nation-wide it could be faster than charging for road trips.
