More then likely some part is missing or defective and rather than hold up production, the car is put to the side and fixed manually. Seems to happen all the time with new cars.
For example the new 2020 gle had several hundred 450s held at the factory when a defect was found with the rear roof spoiler. That delayed a lot of cars for a few weeks.
I would prefer things this way rather then having issues fixed at vpc or worse at a dealer service center.
