Somebody's got it wrong.

I'm wondering if anyone who doesn't work for a magazine has tried an actual, real-world 0-60 run, and how they did it....

That was me who said that! :biggrin: I should have added in there that I did that in an auto transmission. For me I found that was a sweet spot and any higher RPM the back wheels would start to spin or I would get too much wheel spin off the line. 4000 RPM launch for the auto would be great for a smoke show!

Maybe on the manual you might pull it off if you let off slowly. Not sure haven't driven this car with a MT.
