There's been a lot of discussion on the X5 board about this feature. So far no one has been able to access the module which controls the laser lights to code them back to euro spec. The only coding I've seen is to disable the auto stop start.
To be clear, the coding that would be done would be the no-dazzle when the high beams are on. If you're getting flashed now, it must be because the standard lights are so bright they look like HB. The anti-dazzle won't fix that. The laser HB only kick on when certain criteria are met (which I can't remember but it's something like over 35mph). Otherwise it's just your standard HB.
