both softwares for the ecu and valetronic can easily come out to 2000 dollars themselves. this i know because it was done to an older m3 in my neighborhood not too long along. and thats if its even possible to do it.
along with the other upgrades u're looking at more than the difference msrps for both cars. and u still get less than u get with a base 330i.
its cheaper, more reliable, and clearly more obvious to just get the 330i.
