yep too much for me personally.

Those are list prices, how much discount (if any!!) would there be on a M5?

The low depreciation might also be taking into account what seems the norm today for BMW that they are heavily discounted from new.

When I picked up my 540i recently, dealer was telling me back when selling the E39 there was no discount until the last year of it's life.
Not sure thats correct personally as I got 2.5% off when I bought mine in 2001 but none the less, tehre is certianly more discount now than back then I'm sure.

I know not quite the same, but maybe the M550i is seriously worth a look. In the UK, from reading here, BMW UK decided to not bring in the 550i as it was deemed to steal sales from the M5. Can sort of see why!

Are the equivalents from Audi and Mercedes in a similar position as regards depreciation?
