Removing the pins from the broken housing is a pain though, you need to either buy a tool to remove the pins, or make up one (I used 2 drywall knife blades ground down to fit inside the housing)

You need to remove the side panel to get at the port. I'd unplug the battery just to be careful (I didn't and ended up blowing a fuse shorting some of the wires together by accident)
